The Ricker Report’s Reading List features my edited collection of essays on contemporary urban design, Intelligent Infrastructures: Zip Cars, Invisible Networks, and Urban Transformations. The collection brings to the forefront how information, social equity, sustainability, transit, and housing, are all critical to understanding today’s changing urban environment. Included are works by Mitchell Schwarzer (Hella Town: Oakland’s History), Anthony Townsend, Carlo Ratti, and Mitchell Joachim, among others.
